[Rates of parasitism: assessment and interpretation in a case study of the horse-chestnut leaf miner, Cameraria ohridella, a new invasive pest species in Europe] Mitt. Dtsch. Ges. Allg. Angew. Ent. 14: 347-350.

The seasonal development of the rates of parasitism of Cameraria ohridella were studied from 1998 to 2000 at different Aesculus hippocastanum stands in Bavaria (Germany). We assessed parasitism levels related to the seasonal phenology of C. ohridella, and found them to be ranging between 1% and 5 %. These results differ considerably from other data in the literature. The reasons of this discrepancy are discussed.
